Let’s be frank. To survive for 66 years in the plastics manufacturing industry, you have to pay close attention to quality. For us, a commitment to quality is nothing new. In fact, it’s a commitment we’ve had that’s pretty much unchanged over the past 66 years.
What has changed are some of the ways we demonstrate that commitment. In 1949, ISO 9001 quality certifications didn’t exist. But in 2009, they did, and that’s when we decided that ISO 9001:2008 certification was one more way we could demonstrate our commitment to quality.
Our ISO 9001:2008 quality certification was set to expire this year, and we’re happy to announce that Ray Products has successfully renewed that certification through 2018. Our certification covers “the manufacture of heavy gauge thermoformed plastic enclosures and components for medical, electronic, communication, industrial and other industries.“
You can view our renewed certification on our site here, as well in ABS Quality evaluation’s database here. Thanks to all the engineers and technicians who help make all our quality programs, including ISO 9001:2008 certification, possible.
